So how about WordPress?
Wednesday, December 26th, 2007Today we got some questions about WordPress. “Are you going to fork WordPress?” one asks, someone else asks: “Why do you use WordPress if you’re going to write your own publishing system?”. These questions make sense, by the end of the day you’re now looking at a Wordpress blog . The only reason why we installed this blog is because our publishing system is far from finished - we don’t even have a (definitive) database design - and people want to keep track of our progression. We chose not to fork WordPress because it would simply be too much hacking and using workarounds, remember,
WordPress is meant for web-logging, and for web-logging only.
